This is a view across the Mississippi River from Fort Kaskaskia toward the part of Illinois that lies west of the river due to changes in the river's course. It makes a good desktop.
1200 x 900		 The site of the old Illinois State Capital (Kaskaskia), now merely a bend in the Mississippi River. The town was approximately in the southwest corner of the image.
1600 x 1200		 This is a view of the scenery in the Saxon Alps, a part of Germany just south of Dresden, along the Czech border. I went for a hike here in the summer of 1988.
