This 180 foot bridge was built across the Little Vermillion River in 1885 by Joseph J. Daniels.

Cayuga Generating Station
Duke Energy's Cayuga Generation Station in Vermillion County, Indiana was America's 8th worst source of Sulfer Dioxide air emissions in 2006. Sulfer dioxide scrubbers were to have been installed by the fall of 2008, which should help reduce the problem.

Covered Bridge near Dana, Indiana
J. J. Daniels built this 104-foot long Hillsdale-Possum Bottom Bridge in 1876. It's right along Highway 36 just south of Dana, Indiana.

Old Oaks
These old oak trees just a few miles east of Tuscola seem to have suffered from the ice storms of recent years. One of them looks almost like a Sequoia in its growth habit now, with the crown knocked off.
