Class visit and two lectures all in one day.The description of the day will appear here. I have a lecture on Sex in America. You can download the 20 MB PowerPoint (ppt) version of it here. A pdf of my hand-outs is available here. A few interesting articles I recommend include Sexual Selection for Moral Virtues by Geoffrey Miller (available as a PDF from here), Trends in Marital Happiness by Gender and Race, 1973 to 2006 by Mamadi Corra and others (download the PDF here), Measuring Love in Romantic Relationships by James M. Graham (get the PDF here), and the Centers for Disease Control’s report on the sexual behavior of teenagers from 2011 [available as a PDF here]. I also gave a lecture on Social Work perspectives on Art. This lecture is available as a web-based presentation (it may take a while to load, as there 251 slides). If you would prefer to download the whole presentation, it is available as a PDF (it is 120 MB in size). It is quite large, so it may take a few minutes to download. The photographs on this page show my class visit before my lectures, and also the relaxing get-together I had with some graduate students and some faculty from Marlborough College. |
