Huan-Yui and Jia-Mu visit us.

We have known Huan-Yui since before we were married. We met him in August of 1992, and we have been friends all these years. We met Jia-Mu shortly later, and attended their wedding. Huan-Yui came to our wedding. Anyway, we were very glad they came to visit us in St. Louis. Here are some photographs from our last days during our trip to Spain and also some pictures of Huan-Yui and Jia-Mu and their cute little son, Teddy.

Here is a fountain in Kew Gardens, in London. This appears to be Hercules, and he is fighting with Achelous in the Palm House Pond.

 Here is a fountain between the courts and the city hall in Montreal, in the Place Vauquelin, named after a French naval captain, Jean Vauquelin (1728–1772). Here is a courtyard near the cafeteria in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

 This is a very large thistle I noticed near the gate to Kew Gardens. Here is Teddy taking a bath in my parents' bathtub, and he is having a great time.

Huan-Yui and Jia-Mu treated us to a fine dinner at this Japanese restaurant in St. Louis. The food was excellent. The larger image shows Arthur, Paul, Virginia, and Eric as well as Huan-Yui, Jia-Mu, and Teddy, who you can see in this smaller picture. The larger image shows Jia-Mu, Martha Ozawa, and Huan-Yui Tseng gathered in Martha's home.

Huan-Yui, Teddy, and Jia-Mu have arrived at the St. Louis Zoo, and they are enjoying the sea lion fountains near the main south gate.

 The small image you see above shows Huan-Yui with his video camera, but if you click to see the larger image, you'll see Teddy was also taking a picture. The Tseng family begins their exploration of the River Walk at the St. Louis Zoo. The vegetation was extremely lush and green. I have usually visited between November and March, and it's been a few years since I've seen the River Walk in the summer foliage. The beauty was stunning, and the animals seemed to enjoy their habitats.

Huan-Yui, Teddy, and Jia-Mu stand in front of a lively robotic Tyrannosaur.

 Encountering dinosaurs and a synapsid pelycosaur (the Dimetrodon) can be a daunting experience. Jia-Mu and Teddy cautiously observe dinosaurs in the St. Louis Zoo. A Dimetrodon from the Permian and a Pachycephalosaurus from the late Cretaceous lurk behind them.

 Jeri, Eric, Sebastian, Arthur, and Teddy. Jeri and Sebastian were about to fly away for a three week trip, leaving Eric and Arthur in Saint Louis and Springfield. Little Teddy has joined the Hadley-Ives family for this family portrait.
